3 defeats on the bounce, time for changes?

An ugly showing from the Robins in their games leading up to Christmas is starting to result in questions being asked of how the club is moving forward.

A disappointing evening at the Den resulted in a 2-1 defeat for the Robins. Jed Wallace’s’s brace gave the Lions the points, despite Callum O’Dowda’s late strike. Then the Robins welcomed Blackburn to the gate and lost 2-0. A Dackless Rovers side were organized and took their chances, profiting on mistakes and sloppy passes, Han-Noah Massengo’s miscommunication for the second was the best example of this.

Then came the Sunday fixture against an on the rise Sheffield Wednesday. A hard fought game from the Robins was thrown away in the 84th minute as Tommy Rowe conceded a penalty, which was slotted home by Barry Bannan. The robins have now slipped to 8th in the table.

Is this the end for Lee?

Opinion:

He is labelled ‘Streaky Johnson’ for a reason. Consecutive wins, followed by consecutive losses, consistency of performances as well. Very irritating for all fans.

However, change in the managerial department may not solve our problem. Some of our signings and sellings have not fitted the personal we want to see, and we have sold players like Mo Eisa that have never been given a chance then strived elsewhere.

Change is needed, but Lee has worked wonders. Its a tough choice for Steve.
