James Scott:
Previously linked back in September, https://robinview.home.blog/2019/09/16/robins-to-compete-in-race/, the Motherwell centre forward, is now receiving serious interest from the club. The Scottish under 21 international is 6ft 2in and highly rated by his club’s supporters. A fee of around £1-2m should secure Scott’s services and tie down the 19 year old. We understand both clubs view him as a potential star, and Motherwell are keen to keep hold of the player, meaning that, a deal could be secured in the summer, rather than now.
Jordan Jones:
A loan target, nothing more. But the club are exceedingly keen for this to go through. The Rangers man thrived at Killy, before warming benches with Rangers. Sheffield United are also very keen, but the fact that the Robins were interested in him last January, may clinch it for the Robins. Jones would add some much needed pace to a momentarily toothless attack.
Kalidou Sidibe
A new name. Once again, the Summer may be when this could be confirmed, but it seems that the board have contacted Toulouse, and the club are genuinely interested in securing a deal. The 20-year old is a 6ft 7in midfielder with 4 Ligue 1 appearances this season. He would provide cover for the defence, and allow players like Adam Nagy and Kasey Palmer to commit forward and have protection behind them.
Eddie Nketiah
The ever present target, who slipped away from the club on deadline day in the summer. He is currently very close to signing a loan for a Championship club. Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday are currently the hot favourites, with the player wanting to stay in Yorkshire, but the club wanting him to have guaranteed game time, with City more likely to give that. Next few days…..
