Bristol City are beleived to be currently monitoring Scottish striker James Scott. According to several sites including TeamTalk the Robins will work to try and win what may be a very packed contest. Fellow Championship side Barnsley, League 1 promotion hopefuls Sunderland and four Premier League sides, including Everton and Southampton are all due to compete with Bristol City in a race in January.
The 19 year old is currently at Scottish top-flight side Motherwell, under Steve Robinson. It seems likely Scott will leave Scotland but he may have to wait till the summer transfer window for his move.
Opinion:
If Lee wants top young talent up front, he’s already got some in Saikou Janneh and Antoine Semenyo, who he doesn’t even start. Mo Eisa came in, got 1 start then went off to Peterborough, where he is scoring for fun. Doesn’t advertise the club well for players like Scott. Can see a Championship move being good for him, but likely a heavyweight will snap him up in the summer.
